Parents are choosing not to vaccinate their children due to distrust, misinformation, and religious belief. So we thought of targeting children themselves in partnership with KidsHealth, and with the help of child YouTube stars to take the initiative.
Every child YouTuber will now have a heart symbol next to their verified checkmark, letting their viewers know that they have been vaccinated.
KidsHealth, a nonprofit children's health system, will collaborate with YouTube and their biggest child stars. A fresh new take on their logo was recreated to re-engage children, as well as creating a consistent, playful identity.
Each child YouTuber will have a takeover banner promoting awareness, advising children to initiate a conversation with their parents.
YouTube takeover ads will wrap around child stars' homepages.
